ENCORE ELECTRIC INC. is a family-owned business that began with Franck Cathelot, our President, as a sole proprietor in 1996. After incorporation in 1998, Franck partnered with Claudia Cathelot, also a principal, and since has built a business that is known in the community for delivering quality electrical services in a prompt and friendly manner.
Franck was born and raised in central France, where he worked in various trades and developed a strong work ethic. It was there he first discovered his interest in electrical engineering. He graduated from a technical college in 1987 with a degree in Electrical Mechanical Technology, shortly afterward relocating to the United States.
After gaining valuable experience working for local general and electrical contractors, he sought his electrical license in 1996 and began as a sole proprietor. In 1998, Encore Electric Inc. was born, in partnership with Claudia. His experience in various trades give him a solid understanding of proper construction and proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Franck is in continued pursuit of furthering his knowledge and education to provide the best and most up-to-date service and products available to Encore Electric’s customers. He spends time with family & their two boys, chasing after various sports, school, and church activities, and loves to play guitar.
Claudia helps manage the operations behind the scenes, bringing a wealth of professional office background to Encore Electric. Prior to and during her business partnership with Franck, Claudia has maintained an office support career with positions as an executive assistant, sales and client services support, and office management, mainly in the finance and insurance industries.
Her continued exposure to office administration outside of Encore Electric provides her with fresh insights for maintaining a successful business requiring change over time as a result of economic conditions and technology development. When she is not juggling offices, she spends much of her time with their family shuffling to various activities and participating in church and school programs. She loves to cook, and is a two-time breast cancer survivor with a committed interest in raising funds for prevention and cure.
